Articles are written collaboratively by the EIA editors. More information on our team, their individual bios, and our approach to writing can be found on our About pages. We also welcome feedback and all articles include a bibliography (see below).

Founded by the artists Debashish Borah and Hélène Thébault, Farside Collective is an independent publishing house, project space and studio based between Leh, North Indian Himalayas and Bretagne, France. The two are also the co-founders of Art Book Depot, India’s first independent art book fair. As publishers, they print zines and other artist publications, focusing on photography, alongside running an art book store and a photo lab from Leh. The space also consists of a screenprinting and darkroom facility, which is available for artist residencies across the year.

The collective has been featured as a part of the LA Art Book Fair (2020), the Irregulars Art Fair (2018) and the Printed Matter Art Book Fair (2021), among others.
