A mythical warrior and one of the five Pandava princes in the Mahabharata, Arjuna was the son of Kunti and Indra. He was known to be a skilled archer and won Draupadi’s hand in marriage through an archery competition. His philosophical discussions with Krishna on the topics of dharma, war and duty during the Kurukshetra war are recorded in the Bhagavad Gita.
