Narasimha II

Narasimha II (b. n.d. ; d. 1505 ; r. 1491-1505) was a ruler of the Saluva dynasty, who governed the Vijayanagara empire from 1491 to 1505 CEE. He was the son of Saluva Narasimha, the founder of the dynasty and became king upon the latter’s death in 1491. However, the de facto ruler at this time was the regent Vira Narasimharaya, who acceded the throne in 1505 and founded the Tuluva period of rule in Vijayanagara.
