Parmeshvaravarman I

Pallava king who ruled in southern India from 670–95 CE. He ascended the throne after his father, Mahendravarman II, and was renowned for his military prowess as well as love for poetry. He was also a devotee of Shiva and erected several temples to him across the kingdom.
