Triratna

Glossary

Also known as the Three Jewels of Buddhism, triratna comprises the Buddha, dharma (his teachings) and sangha (the community). In Jainism, it refers to samyagdarshana (faith), samyagjnana (knowledge) and samyakcharitra (conduct). Within art, it is often symbolised by a trident.
