Chamunda Raya (b. n.d.; d. n.d.) was a general and minister of the Ganga kingdom in medieval southern India. He is known for commissioning the immense granite monolithic sculpture of Bahubali, also known as Gommateshvara, at Shravana Belagola, Karnataka, which was consecrated in 981 CE. He is also known to have dedicated temples to the Hindu deities, Vishnu and Shiva, and for authoring Trishashtilakshana Mahapurana, a work of prose based on the lives of the 24 Jaina Tirthankaras. A temple located in the religious precinct of Chamundaraya Basadi is named after him and may have been commissioned by him or his descendants.
