Gadadevi

Glossary

The anthropomorphic representation of Vishnu’s gada or mace, held in one of his four hands, she is worshipped in some Hindu traditions. Gadadevi is often depicted in the form of a woman represented as holding the mace or emerging from it, with Vishnu’s hand placed on her head.
