The publications, printed maps, archive and public records of the East India Company, the Board of Commissioners for the Affairs of India, the India and Burma Office and ancillary colonial offices of the British empire. The records consist of over one lakh manuscripts and over seventy thousand volumes of publications undertaken by the offices. The records are currently housed in the British Library, London.
