A hoard of 226 bronzes dating between the ninth and twelfth centuries and discovered in 1930 at Kurkihar, Bihar. Most of the bronzes depicting Buddhas, bodhisattvas, stupas, bells and other liturgical objects significant to Buddhism. An inscription uncovered at the site reveals that it was a well-known pilgrimage centre. The objects are presently housed at the Patna Museum.
